Lisa Pendergast has more than thirty years of experience in financial and accounting roles in various organizations, including her current position as Vice President Treasurer and Investments at MGIC, a private mortgage insurance company listed on the NYSE.  Her experiences have included Treasury, Fixed Income Investments, Audit, Executive Compensation and International Finance.  She is the Executive Sponsor of MGIC’s first Employee Resource Group, and is the Chair of the TEMPO Women’s Affinity Alliance.

Lisa is a former member of the boards of four non-profit boards which serve causes which she is passionate about.  Lisa also serves on the board of a privately held technology company.  She has extensive experience presenting to the Securities and Investment Committee of the Board of MGIC where she makes recommendations regarding investment strategy as well as capital markets activities.

Lisa is a former member of the Boards of IMPACT, Meta House,Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee  and Treasurer and Board member of Messmer Catholic Schools. She is a Board member Milwaukee Women inc. and Mechdyne Corporation, a privately held AV and IT technology company in Iowa.  Lisa was the Chair of the TEMPO Women’s Affinity Alliance and a member of Milwaukee Women inc.

Professional Summary

Current: Retired Vice President Treasurer and Investments at MGIC, an NYSE-listed private mortgage insurance company, where she was responsible for the oversight of the $5 billion investment portfolio, oversight of the investments in the benefit plans including pension, profit sharing and the 401K plan. Responsible for the capital markets, treasury and payroll activities.  Prior experience includes several financial roles including International Finance Manager, Treasury Manager, and Human Resources manager where she was primarily focused on Executive Compensation activities.

Personal

Lisa is married with two children and resides in Fraser Colorado. Lisa starts each day with exercise and enjoys golf, biking, hiking Nordic and cross-country skiing.  She serves causes which benefit women, children, and those suffering from addiction and in need of mental health support.
