Influence Kick Off Meeting

This is the Kick Off Meeting for the Influence Committee. The Influence Committee advances the mission of Milwaukee Women inc by transforming research into meaningful engagement and action. Leveraging insights generated by the Insights Committee, the committee convenes board decision-makers and business leaders to facilitate conversations about current and emerging board governance needs, including the skills, experiences, and perspectives needed in today's and tomorrow's boardrooms. Through listening sessions, roundtable discussions, and strategic outreach, the committee gathers qualitative insights that deepen MWi's understanding of evolving board leadership trends. These findings are shared with the Expertise Committee to inform relevant, forward-looking member programming. The committee also strengthens MWi's relationships within the business community by cultivating strategic partnerships and securing sponsorships. Committee members identify and build connections with prospective sponsors and, when appropriate, represent MWi by delivering sponsorship presentations that advance the organization's mission and impact. The Influence Committee will meet quarterly. Meetings will be conducted using a combination of in-person and virtual formats to facilitate collaboration. Committee members may be asked to attend meetings and events with Board decision-makers, as needed.
