Kristin Ruethling Dufek, AIA, LEED AP is the President of EUA (Eppstein Uhen Architects). In this role, she holds the day-to-day responsibilities of the firm and is responsible for assuring the strategic, development and relationship objectives of the firm are met. She maintains a strong reputation among EUA employees and clients and is highly respected for her market knowledge, responsiveness and leadership. She has been with EUA for 20 years and has been an integral part of the firm’s growth into a nationally top 50 ranked architectural firm with 250 employees in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Atlanta and Denver. Through her people-first approach, she is a natural influencer, helping others accomplish goals, both professionally and personally, providing perspective, guidance and always a kind word.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin. She is a licensed Architect with over two decades of experience advising and partnering with healthcare organizations in transformative strategic planning, facility programming and master planning. Kristin was named as one of Milwaukee’s “40 under 40” in 2010 in recognition of her commitment to transforming healthcare environments in the community, was honored in Milwaukee as a Business Journal “Woman of Influence” in 2019 and is active of several boards in the Milwaukee area.
