Professional Summary
Janette is an entrepreneur, community leader and author whose professional background includes executive positions across several industries including: government, education, nonprofit and information technology. She is currently the CEO of Leaders Leaving Legacies, LLC, where she empowers leaders through providing various services including professional coaching, mentoring and facilitating end-to-end strategic planning with their teams. Janette is also President of the NAACP of Ozaukee County and the Executive Director of Partnerships for Cardinal Stritch University. She has received several awards and honors for being an inspirational and multi-faceted leader including: Wisconsin’s Top 48 Most Influential Black Leaders (2021), Milwaukee Business Journal’s Power Brokers (2020, 2021), Professional Dimensions Imprint Award (2021), the MBJ Woman of Influence Award (2018) and more. Janette has decided to complete her 3rd and final term as an Ozaukee County Supervisor this year but plans to continue her community service across Wisconsin and beyond.
